Larry and Debbie visited the Butterfly Conservatory at the Butterfly Estates where a volunteer explained how the native Florida Atala butterfly was nearly extinct and the conservatory is successfully working to bring them back. They happen to be mating the day we were there and I snapped a photo which we used to create the mosaic.
"Butterflies in Love" is being displayed at Two Newts Gallery in Fort Myers.
